31 Weeks

Compare to 31 weeks, 4 days pregnant with Annie (I forgot to link/read my comparisons the last few weeks)

Due Date: February 27, 2012

Weight Gain: I gained a little over 4 pounds at my last midwife appointment, in 3 weeks. My total now is about 22 pounds.

Symptoms:  Nothing new, still feeling good most of the time, uncomfortable sometimes but nothing major.

What's different this time: I definitely feel bigger earlier this time around, and I think the last month will be tougher than it was last time just in terms of getting out of breath and feeling sore. Also, since this pregnancy lines up date wise, I imagine I'll start to feel impatient sooner too, expecting it to be over at the beginning of February... but no. Luckily we have an EXTREMELY busy January already!

Cravings/Aversions: I should just take this off because it's boring - I'm still just eating normally with lots of sweets of course - can't really avoid those over Christmas!

Sleep: Eh, okay. Still not super comfortable and this baby seriously moves all night long, especially in the 4am range... I love feeling him moving of course, but ..... not so much when I'm trying to fall asleep!

I am loving: Christmas! It's been a great weekend of celebrations, and it's been so fun to watch Annie really participate this year.

I miss: sleeping on my belly, again.

I am looking forward to: Ben and I are going to a B&B in a few weeks - I can't wait to have a weekend of just dedicated relaxation!

I'm spazzing about: Good thing to spaz about, but fitting all of our Christmas presents in our house! Mostly Annie's. Seriously, that girl made out like a bandit!

Best thing about this week: Definitely Christmas, and watching Annie open her presents and get so excited about them.

Milestones: Not sure there are any major ones this week really... Except that I did get not one but TWO actual stranger comments - and once I was even wearing my COAT. Now that is ballsy. I mean... yes, that IS a baby bump, but come on, what if it was just a scarf?!?!?!

Movement: All the time, and some of it is getting painful. I don't remember Annie really ever getting up in my ribs, but this baby has found them already!

It's a...: boy! Of my 10 pregnant friends, so far there are 5 of them having boys (for a total of 6 boys since Kate is having twins), and 2 are having girls - last round it was almost all girls so the tides are a-changin'! Also, I find it interesting that I have 3 friends due on May 9th and ALL of them are having boys.

Exercise: No technical exercise, just chasing after Annie. I'm scheduled to go to prenatal yoga tomorrow - we'll see if that happens...

Diet: Oh, just amazing, obviously :) Christmas weekend really lends itself to healthy eating!!!!
