22 Weeks

22 Weeks
Compare to 22 weeks and 4 days with Annie. Yes, I am wearing almost the same outfit :) ha! It's one of my favorites, despite the shirt being annoyingly short. Also, I seem to be weirdly sticking out my belly, I don't normally look QUITE that huge.

Due Date: February 27, 2012

Weight Gain: Don't know. Probably a lot, considering how much I ate this weekend. I made cinnamon rolls, and consumed 7 of them myself.

Symptoms: Feeling pretty good! At points I sometimes forget I'm pregnant!!! This cannot have enough exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's different this time: At this point, not much. Just the same as last week - nothing really to plan or think about. Which could make the next 4 months go by veeeeeeeeery slowly...

Cravings/Aversions: Nothing specific. I'm very boring this week. I guess I crave more coffee than I'm allowed. I have my one half-caf latte in the morning, but I'd like to have about 10.

Sleep: Well, this weekend it sucked because we were sharing a room with the not-so-quiet Annie who seemed to want to wake up 3+ times a night for no reason. Plus we were sharing a full size bed which doesn't leave much room for stretching out when you're 5'9'' and pregnant. It was a lot better last night back at home though, for everyone!

I am loving: not having any travel plans for either of us for awhile! I was supposed to go to Orlando for work this week, but am really thankful that got cancelled.

I miss: excessive caffeine consumption, as I mentioned above.

I am looking forward to: a fun weekend at home - first birthday party for my niece and nephew (WOW, can't believe it's been a year!), and a Halloween party with a bunch of cute kiddos!

I'm spazzing about: nothing. Booooooring. I love being boring right now!

Best thing about this week: our trip to the woods of Wisconsin with Ben's family! Yes, it was hectic and our sleep sucked, but it was really fun to spend some time with the ENTIRE family - more on that in another post.

Milestones: Um, nothing I don't think. Belly button is still on it's way out, sadly, and starting to show through shirts.

Movement: Yes, happening pretty frequently! Ben's felt him move around more, and I am feeling movement at least every few hours which is great. I rarely seem to feel him at work for some reason, but maybe I'm just not paying enough attention there.

It's a...: boy!

Exercise: Twice this weekend I walked down a huge hill from the cabin we were at to the lake and back. I was quite winded.

Diet:Fine. I ate a lot this weekend. A LOT. None of it was particularly horrible though.

I know I've been commenting along the way, but it wasn't until today that I realized at 22 weeks you're beyond 1/2 way! Holy cow! That's great and you look great!!!

you have the sway-back now! A classic pregnancy posture, of course:) Love it, love the bump, and love that you feel somewhat normal by now. About time!!

Have you made a double stroller decision yet? I haven't let myself think about it since I was obsessing over it during 1st tri. But I'm starting to think my kid (the 2-yr old) is NOT a sit and stand kind of guy. He is a runner, and that doesn't seem to be going away. He will need to still be strapped in something fierce for quite a while longer I'm thining.

I'm impressed with your caffeine self-control. I'm pretty sure I drink too much, usually I limit it to one coffee a day, sometimes I make it half-caf. But it's ALWAYS a large. Ugh.
