While Mom's away...

Just like the last few times I've been gone, Ben was in charge of fully capturing his weekend with Annie for me to check out on flickr :) We WERE able to FaceTime each day which was great - Annie seemed to get it more this time and even chatted with me a bit. She also got a little obsessed with seeing her own face in the corner of the screen and enjoyed making faces at herself too :)

Ben seriously is getting pretty good with the camera! His iPhone camera is on the fritz, so he just used the point and shoot and was nice enough to upload every night for me to look at :) He took a ton of pics, but here are some of my favorites from their weekend.

Yay teethbrushing!

Bunnies, Annie, & Adelaide

Scotch & kids!
Oh geez. This is from Scotch Club, where Ben goes and hangs out with 3 of the other husbands/fiances from my college roomie group. So of course that meant a photo op with the girls (plus baby doll of course) and the scotch.

Night night?? You just got up!
Annie LOVES laying down on random dishtowels on the ground and having us cover her up. I really think she could be happy doing that for nearly an hour.

Mornin'
Love this outfit :) Onesie from Kate, glad she found it in her garage ;) She looks like kind of an old man with a tucked in t-shirt! ha.

Surly onsie
My new phone background!

Putting box on her head
Remember when Annie was pushing this basket around? Now it's a hat! (Side note: that video from the post I linked? WOW. She was SO SLOW!! It is CRAZY how much kids change so fast!)

Thinking about going down the slide

Hi Dad!
Love this one :)

Lounging
I really can't get over how cute she looks here, on Grandma and Grandpa's deck

Morning!
I can't get over how LONG her hair is now!

Self!

Smoothie for breakfast
Ben picked a cute new outfit for her :) Complete with jeggings :)

Sucking thumb......again
She's turning into quite the thumb sucker lately... uh oh! Taking after her momma :)

A tray of animals
Concentrating VERY hard on bringing Dad a full tray of animals!

Pouch on hoodie
Once Ben showed her this pouch, she apparently became obsessed

Pouch on hoodie
At MJ's birthday party, taking all the favors :)

Cupcake
Rumor has it Allison has some cute pics of the 3 neighbor girls eating their cupcakes ...

Motorcycle!
Apparently Annie was freaked out by this toy... until she decided she loved it :)

I have a lot to live up to when Ben's gone this weekend - hopefully I can deliver ;)

I am so impressed with Ben's documentation! I'm pretty sure Chris would look at me like I'm a freak if I asked him to document a weekend. Not that he has ever watched Ryann for more than a few hours by himself. Whatever.

Where is the adorable pink striped dress from?? I love it. And I bet Ryann would love the pouch too.

Old Navy! 99% of Annie's clothes are from either Target or Old Navy so it's a pretty safe bet with one of the two :)

Oh I LOVE these. I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting pictures from my husband when he's on solo parenting duty.

I think my favorite thing about these pictures is just the idea of Ben putting pony tails and bows in Annie's hair. I mean, duh, clearly her hair is getting long and it looks like it's quite necessary, and I think part of it is because I have a boy so bows and ponytails are all so foreign to me, but the adorableness of a husband doing up his little girl's hair is just almost too much to handle.

Oh and Annie's concentration face carrying the tray of animals is so so classic toddler. Seen that exact furrowed brow so many times on Gus. Such cuteness.

I can't believe she can still fit into a onesie. M grew out of those four months ago!

And that little record player!!! I had that when I was little. I wonder if it's still around??
