Thank you so much for all of your awesome comments on my last post!! So exciting that a lot of you are also pregnant, and especially for maria120 who shares my due date - very cool! Also I'm glad to give some of you that itch to start working on #2 ;) Share in the "fun", ladies! Ha!
It is hilarious to me how much you can change your feelings about pregnancy - right after I had Annie, I literally looked at pregnant women and felt SORRY for them. Seriously. Like "wow, they are going to have to give birth soon, and have a newborn... yeah, that kind of sucks for them. A lot of them probably have no idea what they're in for too." When Annie was about a year old, I didn't even notice pregnant women at all. Right before we started trying, I started noticing them again, but just in a "hmm, I wonder if she's pregnant or just fat" kind of way. NOW - I see pregnant women around me all the time - everywhere! Usually I am jealous that the ones I see are clearly out of the horrible first trimester and that they GET to go through labor and have a newborn soon. It's really quite amazing how the mind works to prepare you for your own reality! Although I am a-ok with this pregnancy not flying by... I am in no way ready for 2 kids just yet!
This is probably the most boring update ever, since nothing was happening yet. I decided to use Laura's "bumpdate" format for my weekly posts - it's been working well so far, instead of me just rambling for a few paragraphs. Don't worry, sometimes I do that too :) A lot of TMI too, but that's pregnancy for ya! Italics are my present day additions. Due to my superstitious nature, I didn't take weekly belly pics until after our 8 week ultrasound, but I did include a pic of me from this week for the record books :)

Due Date: February 25, 2012 (this was pre-ultrasound, where we got a more firm due date - so I guess I actually was 5 weeks, 6 days here)
Weight Gain: ? Haven't weighed myself for a long time but I do feel bloated.
Symptoms: Hard to tell if exhaustion is from this baby or the first one... but I am tired. Have to pee 3x a night, VERY frequent bowel movements.
What's different this time: I'm not as nervous this time. I also was freaking out to tell people last time, this time I'm' enjoying having a secret and not having to obsess about it all the time. My morning sickness started at exactly 6 weeks last time, so I'm waiting for that to show up. If it doesn't, I know I'll start to worry. No sore boobs this time.
Cravings: No appetite changes at all.
Aversions: see above
Sleep: Not great, but Annie has been coughing and waking up so that doesn't help. I am glad I can still sleep on my stomach for awhile.
I am loving: Not having to talk about pregnancy all the time.
I miss: Energy (but I miss that since 2 years ago) and normal bowel movements, and not having to pee at night. And sushi and the occasional Miller Lite. It was hard to go a whole week at the cabin without a single drink.
I am looking forward to: Our ultrasound in 2 weeks to see if the pregnancy is viable.
I'm spazzing about: Nothing, thankfully.
Best thing about this week: Being up at the cabin all week and just relaxing! Being on a self imposed internet hiatus was awesome for my sanity - no message boards or blogs to freak me out.
Milestones: Baby should have a heartbeat by now.
Movement: Lots of gas :)
It's a...: I'm feeling girl so far.
Exercise: Ha. Probably shouldn't even include this one.
Diet: All things considered, ate pretty well at the cabin - we brought our CSA veggies so we had lots of those.
