Janelle tasked us with the hard choice of choosing only six photos to feature in our flickr group. You might guess that this it is difficult for me to edit down my photos, and you'd be right. Here are the six that I chose to share.
Yes, a classic shot. I tried a few other variations of this when editing (as you will see below), but just love the bright blue and yellow - so much that I even have it displayed in my home!
Janelle and Kate, photowalking it up
I just love a good rusted structure in bright sunlight - this is at Mill Ruins Park
Well, of course I had to throw a sunburst in there
And because you KNOW I can't choose just six photos for my own blog post, here are some more :)
I brought Annie a smoothie because I knew it'd be a bit of a late dinner - she had it gone within 5 minutes. (This is just in a Take n Toss Straw Cup for those who are wondering)
Oh, the green! The sun! Beautiful spring days in Minneapolis are truly magical and ALMOST make the winters worth it.
Thanks to Janelle for snapping this great pic of Annie and I! Please note her shirt has a camera on it. Yes, that was definitely on purpose :) (Thanks to Janelle and Jen for the shirt!!)

Kate and my little snuggle muffin - this photo just melts my heart!

Kate does what it takes to get a good photo
A little difficult to take photos and push a stroller at the same time, but I managed
Trying to escape!
All smiles now
My niece and nephew made it out as well! Grace was a bit peeved the whole time but Sam was just silent and observing
An alternate mode of transport for Grace
After we were done photowalking, we all headed over to Aster Cafe for some munchies and miraculously managed to get several tables on the patio. I love Janelle's face in this one :)
Annie had so many liquids that night that her diaper was literally bursting at the seams when we finally got home - usually she's pretty dry between daycare and bed, but this was seriously the biggest diaper I'd ever seen, even more so than her overnight ones. Yeah, these are the things that shock me now.
Annie practicing taking bites of her grilled cheese. I had to quick eat all these chips (I had Joe help me) so Annie wouldn't shove them all in at once :)

comment about annie's soaked diaper = unnecessary

Jen
Hi Jen! I have heard of mamarazzi, but haven't seen the book - I'll have to check it out! Definitely sounds like something I'd enjoy.
We just gave Annie smoothies this past weekend for the first time, but we totally could have been giving them to her for a few months. I linked to the recipe in the post (the word "smoothie" is a link) but here it is again:

She loves them!

that photo walk seems like so much fun! this girl is so very close to having the funds for my camera... yipee.
I'm really impressed with your blog because you always show us perfect photography work, I'd like to do something like that.
