Progress!

First of all, thanks for some great comments on my last post - I'd love to hear from more of you on what your baby must haves are - and if you've ever written a post on the topic on your own blog, let me know! It's so interesting to compare what worked for different people.

Second, and most importantly, I captured some of Annie's steps on video! Since this post, I've heard a ton of predictions that Annie will be walking ANY DAY NOW! Well, she's definitely not a walker yet, but she's getting there - she's up to 10-15 steps at a time at her max, and she's a pro at standing herself up as you'll see in the video. It still doesn't seem to occur to her to walk unless I say "stand up!" or "walk to me" - she definitely prefers crawling, but she'll get there. This video also displays just how single minded Annie can be. It's as if the rag is literally the only interesting thing IN THE WORLD. What a nut.

She did this probably 20 times before I finally got the camera to see if she's perform for it - and thankfully after a LOT of prompting, she did!

We had a really fun weekend - Annie has been sleeping like a teenager, from 7pm-8:30am some mornings! It is AMAZING. I know it won't last, so I'm loving it while it does. Maybe it's just because she's tired out from a long week - I don't know, but I'm not questioning it!

Needed a little relax time
Friday after daycare - apparently needed to chillax a bit

playing at Peyton's party
Went to Peyton's 2nd birthday party and had a blast!

Annie chowing
Annie LOVED the pizza, obviously

Annie in the doll bed before she fell over
Climbed in... and promptly tipped it over. A lot of owies happened this weekend because of her climbing tendencies and lack of ability to get out :)

Buncha kids
So many kidlets!

Annie playing at Java Train
Since it was so gross out, we went to Java Train for Annie to burn off some steam - she has been there before, but this was definitely her favorite trip so far :) This place is seriously awesome for kids - might have to go back for a meal so we can write it up for We Got Served soon (as soon as Ben writes his LAST review from 2 weeks ago, that is... slacker)

Loving her baby again

Knocking the blocks down
Starts off stacking the blocks, ends up just pushing each one individually on the ground

Molly and Annie, reunited
Finally reunited with Frauntie Molly, after their trip to Aruba! (yes, they just went to Aruba, after going to Mexico with us in Feb :)

Yay Annie! Greta loves playing with a washcloth too and her baby doll! She'll often wrap her baby in it. It's so funny to find out what their interests are at this age!
