As soon as Annie and Mia finished their breakfast on this day, we got ready to head to the beach again. It was kind of cloudy, which makes photos slightly easier. This is also the day that I realized that the pajamas I got on clearance for Annie because I needed some non-fleece footie pjs were actually Christmas themed :) Oops!
Another cute outfit - this one was a bday present from Molly because she loves seeing Annie's chunky thighs is leggings :)
Annie really loved getting sunscreen put on
Here are just a small selection of the 8 million photos I took on the beach that day - some of my faves from the entire trip! When I dumped my memory cards after this trip, I had taken over 2 THOUSAND PHOTOS - a new record, probably. Well, except for our Europe trip. But for a week in the same place? That's pretty impressive... I managed to edit them down to 1,184 total, so just wanted to make you aware that I actually did delete about 40% of the pics I took :)
Hm, still not a fan apparently
The waves were pretty fierce
My current desktop background at work!
This one pretty much sums up the trip - Mia walking all over and Annie just quietly sitting there, examining a grain of sand :)
Hopefully this works - love this series :)
We got back from the beach and just hung out for a bit before the girls went down for their nap. This was the day that was featured in Nate's time lapse video of naptime, so if you watched that, you get the idea :) Lounging, Ben cooking, and all of us eating.
Lately, whenever Annie sees a pillow, she immediately lays down on it
I couldn't resist - a palm tree in one eye and Molly in the other :)
And Ben, checking twitter :)
After nap, we loaded the girls up and walked into town for some ice cream. I remember being very irritable during this trip into town for some reason. I'm sure it was a really big deal. Oh I remember now - I was dealing with trying to purchase feminine supplies for the first time in 21 months. I mean, really. What are the fricking chances?! Anyway, the gelato was good, but quite overpriced and the people there had no change for me so I had to sit there while they dug money out of the tip jar (which was locked) so yeah, kind of annoying overall.
Ben gets way too big of a kick out of taking Annie shopping for things like cigars...
Since we finally had a fixed stove, we made some spaghetti for dinner. The girls loved it. It was another low key night of sitting on the patio listening to the rain while enjoying some beverages and listening to music.

Is it STILL winter? This was so fun. Are you going to make a book of this trip?
OMG, Annie's sunscreen face seriously cracks me up!!
agh! The eating sand series is freaking hilarious. And I love the pic you have as your desktop!
You MUST make a big fatty book on this trip---use your posts as text and then cram a bunch of pics in there, too.
