And yesterday, because she had 2 Valentine's themed shirts in the box from Adelaide... and we had a Valentine's Eve potluck to attend at Kate's! Her chair is the place to be lately. She even sometimes can figure out how to get out of it without too much frustration now :)
Kate used the poms from Annie's party again!
We had a semi busy day yesterday - Sam FINALLY came home from the NICU while we were in Mexico, so we had to go visit! He's still on oxygen and has a feeding tube (thankfully Becca and Joe are both nurses) so it's no easy feat having him home, but they are all under one roof now! You can read more about their story here.
Annie got to get back in her old standbys... hilarious :)
For the third year in a row now, we made Steak Diane (featured in this post) using a filet we had from Blue Gentian Farm - we served it with sauteed chard and twice baked potatoes - delicious! As a little treat for Ben, I made some chocolate chip cookies for dessert, since he always asks me to make them. Too bad we were both too full to finish our huge cookies :)
Annie was entranced with her new toy (pulled that one out just today - although it was briefly seen and loved here)
Picked these up at the grocery store for myself yesterday :)
A little appetizer since we didn't end up eating until 7:40
The middle of the big cookies are a little...rare. But better to be underdone than overdone, that's for sure! NOTHING ruins my day faster than overbaked cookies - ew.

sigh. someday i will have a baby girl and will dress her in those ADORABLE V.day outfits!! :) So cute.
Also, I agree with the cookie debate. A crunchy cookie = night ruined.
I love that you celebrated v-day and dressed A up in such a cute outfit... So darling!
I left you some blog awards on my blog today...
