Ben and I are having a little dispute about which photo of the Cathedral we should use. Please comment on this post and tell me which photo you think would work better. If you are interested in seeing the rest of the photos that I'm planning on using for the canvases, click here.

The flag in the corner will be removed in photoshop

The light pole will be removed in photoshop
I am not going to tell you who likes which photo better, lest that influences your decision. You can feel free to guess though :)
Also, you will notice we only have 8 photos right now, so I need one more. Minneapolis is very overrepresented, so if anyone has any ideas of St. Paul icons that would go well with the rest of these photos, let me know! Otherwise, ideas for the final photo are:
Uptown Theater sign
Foshay Tower
Spoon & Cherry
State Fair (this is the one other St. Paul icon I thought of, but Ben hates the State Fair)
First Ave
Any thoughts??

Number 1 hands down. Really interesting to look at, great composition, rich colors.
Number 2 feels plain in comparison and I'm not a fan of the large dark color fill in the trees in the lower left.
I like the first one a lot better.
My first reaction was #2 (I like traditional pictures), but I have to admit that #1 is growing on me. Dean likes #1.
Our thoughts for St. Paul icons:
Mickey's Diner
The State Capitol
The High Bridge
The Governor's mansion
The Science Museum
Xcel Center
#1 all the way.
I vote for #1! Obviously.

Numero uno, great idea btw!
Buffalo Wild Wings in the Har Mar Mall.
the first one, second is too typical and postcard like
I like # 2.
I would go with Photo #1 - Photo #2 is a bit too conventional for my tastes.
Yay for Winkflash sales!
The first one--looking up, hands down. It's the artist's eye.
Other St. Paul icons....Centennial Showboat at Harriet Island, The Fitz, MPR studios.
Erin I think you have a pretty clear leader so far! :)
I love the idea and would have to agree with the majority!
yep, definitely #1!
#1 for shiz, my niz
