Minneapolis riverfront

One of my favorite areas of Minneapolis is around the Stone Arch Bridge/St. Anthony area. Every afternoon, I look out my office window and see how prettily the Gold Medal Flour sign is lit up by the sun. I've been wanting to walk over there after work to take photos, and today was the perfect day. Ben joined me, and carried my camera bag. What a guy :)

Ben wanted to check out the new Guthrie (which isn't so new anymore I guess) so we went inside to check out the view from the "endless bridge", seen in the photo below.

The Guthrie is a really cool building. Nicki took some awesome engagement photos for Marianne and Kurt in there when it was -20 outside. I will be back to see The Little House on the Prairie when it comes there in August with my mom and sister. We went to the production in Walnut Grove, which is near where my grandma lives, when we were younger. I can't wait! Melissa Gilbert (who played Laura on the TV show) is going to play Ma. I might have to re-read the books before I see the show to catch up.
